STEP 5 – COOKING WITH TURMERIC ESSENTIAL OIL

broken image

TURMERIC is a staple in South Asian cuisine. You can easily substitute the Essential Oil for the herb. TURMERIC Essential Oil can be used as a preservative to naturally preserve your food. Add a small amount to your meats and/or vegetables.

When cooking, try using TURMERIC with Wild Orange, Ginger, Cardamom, or Cinnamon Bark Essential Oils.

COOKING TIPS:

• For each teaspoon found in the recipe, substitute one drop of TURMERIC Essential Oil.

• If the recipe calls for more than a teaspoon, add one drop and then add-to-taste.

• If the recipe calls for under a teaspoon, start with one to two toothpick swirls. Simply insert a clean toothpick into the Essential Oil bottle and then swirl into your recipe.

• When desiring to use a half a drop of an oil, apply one drop to a spoon and then using a knife scrape part of it into the recipe.

• Add an Essential Oil to a cooking oil to enhance flavor while cooking. You can even add it to a spray and spray onto your food.
